On this week’s show, Drew, Mike, Myles, Patrick, and special guest Rebecca take on the horrors of the night with a few episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer!
Next Week’s Challenge: (Courtesy of everyone ever) Watch Bladerunner: Final Cut
Drew, Mike, Myles, Patrick, and Rebecca –
Thanks for taking on one of my favorite shows of all time. It was great hearing opinions from those with all sorts of differing backgrounds in relation to the fandom and the show itself.
When my wife and I first met, I was already a HUGE fan of BtVS and she was completely uninitiated. After what seemed like many years of pestering her, she finally relented and watched with me. Maybe it was my enthusiasm of the show, but she fell in love with Buffy too after just a few episodes (really the whole first season and me saying “it really gets better” multiple times). Just a few years ago, we had the privilege of going through that experience all over again when we introduced our niece to the show. She is a huge fan now as well.
Much like the relationship I have with the TV show Supernatural and my son, it’s hard to explain the one I have with my wife, niece and Buffy the Vampire Slayer without someone also being a fan as well. In fact, I wrote both these articles about the show in 2012 (the 15th anniversary of the show) for the local newspaper. http://www.meridianstar.com/backstagepass/x1690514110/Grrr-Arrgh-A-Remembrance/print http://www.meridianstar.com/backstagepass/x1511617884/Buffy-Family/print
Take care and thanks for another great show,
